The captain was spot on in putting the visitors in for batting first. But he failed to make use of the momentum being carried after the double ton at Mohali and fell cheaply. Rohit didn’t trouble the scorers much and could manage only 7.
2. Shikhar Dhawan: 9/10
His flawless century made sure that India wins comfortably while chasing a modest total of 215. He remained unbeaten on 100 and played with great responsibility to see his team home.
3. Shreyas Iyer: 7/10

88 to at Mohali and 65 in Vizag today. Shreyas is making use of the great opportunity that came his way in the absence of Kohli. He has enjoyed playing at number 3 and stitched a match winning partnership with Shikhar Dhawan. Would have regretted missing out on a 100 that was there for the taking though.
4. MS Dhoni: 7/10

His services with the bat weren’t required today. But the former skipper was spot on with his keeping and the lightening fast stumping to dismiss Tharanga left everyone stunned. He has once again proved why he’s the best wicket keeping alternative for India in limited overs cricket.
5. Dinesh Karthik: 6/10
Karthik played a little cameo of 26 runs and remained unbeaten with Dhawan in the chase. His little knock was handy for the team and complimented Dhawan well in that unbeaten partnership.
6. Manish Pandey: 4/10
Didn’t come out to bat hence wasn’t ever in action besides fielding. Dharamsala was the only time he got to bat in this series.
7. Hardik Pandaya: 6/10
He proved expensive initially when he came in to the attack. Upul Tharanga hit him for 5 fours in an over. He came back nicely but and finished with 2 wickets for 49 in his 10 overs. His action with the bat wasn’t required today.
8. Yuzvendra Chahal: 8/10
He once again proved why he’s India’s first choice spinner in limited overs. Chahal got important breakthroughs for India and picked up 3 wickets in all. He gave away just 46 runs in his quota of 10 overs.
9. Kuldeep Yadav: 8/10
His one over where he picked both Tharanga and Dickwella has turned the game on its head. He was spot on with his wrist spin and picked up 3 wickets for just 42 in 10 overs.
10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar: 5/10
He didn’t seem in the best of his rhythm today. He just bowled 6.5 overs and got a wicket for 35 runs. The Sri Lankan top order unsettled his line and length by attacking him.
11. Jasprit Bumrah: 6/10
He got wicket in his 8 overs and conceded 39 runs. Initially the Sri Lankan top order looked to unsettle him too and he seemed toothless in the first powerplay.
