The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League will be crucial for MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings as they will be looking forward to win the trophy for the 4th time, while putting the demons of the previous seas to rest. However, ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, CSK received a big blow after Australian and CSK pacer Josh Hazlewood left everyone stunned after he pulled out of the much-awaited IPL 2021.

Josh Hazlewood decided to not take part in the tournament owing to the bio–bubble fatigue and to be fit and in the best possible condition ahead of a busy schedule with the Australian cricket team followed by the T20 World Cup.

“It’s been a long 10 months in bubbles and quarantine at different times, so I decided to have a rest from cricket and spend some time at home and in Australia in the next two months. We’ve got a big winter ahead too. The West Indies is going to be a long tour, with Bangladesh (T20 tour) potentially thrown on the end of that,” said Hazlewood.

However, ever since Hazlewood decided to not take part in the IPL 2021, Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara has been trending on social media and for all the hilarious reasons. For the unversed, both Hazlewood and Pujara are part of the CSK squad for IPL 2021.

India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is known for frustrating the Aussie pacers with his ability to bat for long. Infact, Josh Hazlewood had once said, he would not hesitate from Mankading Cheteshwar Pujara if given an opportunity. As the Australian pacer pulled out of the tournament, fans couldn’t help but bring out the funny side of the story.

From hilarious memes to jokes, twitterati came up with hilarious reactions while trolling Hazlewood. Many said that the thought of facing Pujara in the nets frightened Josh. Not just this, the tweets were also read by the Chennai Super Kings, who also took a cheeky dig at the situation. CSK wrote: “ChePu Josh, what happened?#WhistlePodu #Yellove”
