Unnati MadanBy Unnati MadanUpdated:09/02/2023No Comments3 Mins Read

Riding high on the half centuries of Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, and  Colin Munro, the New Zealand cricket team was able to post a mammoth total of 203 for 5 in ongoing first Ind vs NZ T20I in Eden Park, New Zealand.

Before the match started, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first. New Zealand’s openers — Colin Munro and Martin Guptill gave a flying start to the game as they sent the ball to all the corners of the ground until Rohit Sharma dismissed Martin Guptill with a brilliant catch near the boundary. The breakthrough came off the Shradul Thakur’s delivery.

By the time the powerplay ended, New Zealand had raced away to 68 for no loss. However, Colin’s departure didn’t bring any relief for the Indian cricket team as Colin Monro and Kane Williamson’s brilliant partnership made Men in Blue sweat it out. Colin Munro completed his fifty off 36 balls in the eleventh over with a four off Yuzvendra Chahal’s delivery.
