Cricket LoungeBy Cricket LoungeUpdated:09/02/2023No Comments3 Mins Read

India’s swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma stunned one and all after his brilliant display in the super over of the third T20I of the ongoing series between New Zealand and India. After the thrilling run-chase that led to a super over, New Zealand gave a daunting total of 18 runs to win in the super over.

The game was looking clearly in the favor of Kiwis but Rohit Sharma had different plans and he took Tim Southee to cleaners and scored 20 runs with KL Rahul to seal the game and also the series for India.

It was a batting masterclass by the Hitman as he kept his cool and smashed back to back sixes off the last two balls to take India home. It was a thrilling display of batting as Tim Southee is a very good death bowler and all odds were against India before the start of the super over.

Indian cricket fans on Twitter were overjoyed after Rohit Sharma’s brilliant hitting and here are the 10 best tweets on his brilliant hitting in the super over.
