Kane Willamson is one of the best batters in world cricket across all three formats of the game. In the third match of the ongoing T20I series between New Zealand and India, Kane Williamson played one of the best T20 innings of his career. He batted in his trademark free-flowing style and didn’t allow Indian bowlers to settle down throughout the chase.
It was a T20 batting masterclass as Kane Williamson looked in total control right from the moment he stepped and anchored his team to a thrilling run-chase, which resulted in a super over. Williamson scored 95 runs off just 48 balls and kept his team in the game till he was at the crease.
Even in the super over, Kane Williamson scored a six and a four off Bumrah and helped New Zealand set a daunting total of 18 runs. Fans across the world praised Williamson for the way he batted against Jasprit Bumrah and took the best T20 bowler in the world and on and got better off him.
New Zealand lost the game but fans from across the world praised Kane Williamson for his outstanding batting. Check out the 10 best tweets on Kane Williamson’s T20 batting masterclass here:

India win! An absolutely amazing game of cricket, and New Zealand have been left heart-broken in a super over once again! A superb innings by Kane Williamson goes in vain, and NZ only have themselves to blame after getting into a very good position in the final over of the chase pic.twitter.com/B21ErICKuq

Kane Williamson’s false shot percentage today was 12.5% – that’s below the global average of 15% in Test Cricket. What an incredible composed knock. #NZvIND

One day, Kane Williamson is going to win New Zealand a Test series by scoring 2 fourth innings double hundreds on minefields against top class attacks. He’s accumulating so much credit in his luck ledger, that this is now very likely.
