10 Best Tweets On Marcus Stoinis’ Scintillating Fifty

Rohit GangulyBy Rohit GangulyUpdated:08/02/2023No Comments3 Mins Read

A game where 130 seemed difficult for the Delhi Capitals with the Punjab bowlers putting up a spirited performance throughout, there was a dramatic turnaround that saw Marcus Stoinis firing out an absolute blinder of an innings.
With Shami breathing fire with the cherry in his hand, Delhi was in a desperate need of a hard-hitting messiah who could bailed them out of this quagmire.
The man who did step up for the same was none other than the Australian all-rounder, Marcus Stoinis. He kept his best reseved for the end as he took two of Punjab’s best, Sheldon Cottrell and Chris Jordan to the cleaners.
He started his assault with a clean strike into the leg side stands against Jordan. He followed it up with some fortunate touch in the next ball.
However, the following over from Cottrell went for 14 while Jordan conceded a whopping 30 in his final over, with Stoinis slaying him in stunning fashion, smoking a brilliant 53 off just 21 deliveries that featured 7 fours and 3 sixes.
Twitter exploded in greeting the big Australian. We will look at the ten best tweets on Stoinis.
The first tweet read, “Fastest IPL fifty for Delhi:
17 Balls – Morris
18 Balls – Pant
20 Balls – Viru
20 Balls – Stoinis*”
