The Indian cricket team failed to get their hands on the World Cup trophy as they were defeated by Bangladesh’s cricket team by 3 wickets (and with 23 balls remaining). Though India lost the cup but Team India’s U19 leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi won everyone’s heart with his stunning performance.
Ravi Bishnoi has become the center of attraction after the conclusion of India vs Bangladesh’s clash in World Cup finale. He gave a stunning performance and kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
Batting first, the men in blue had a terrible start to the game as the Indian opener Divyansh Saxena was sent back to the pavilion after scoring just two runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma (38) did steady the ship for India however things went downhill as Bangladesh’s bowlers bundled up the wickets of the Indian cricket team in quick successions.
The aggressive bowling attack of Bangladesh’s bowlers restricted Team India on 177/10 in 47.2 overs.
However, during the second innings, Ravi Bishnoi became the beacon of light for India as he picked up four key wickets for India and turned the tables for his side at a few points during the match.
He dismissed Tanzid Hasan (17) and Mahmudul Hasan Joy (8) in order to give a breakthrough after a 50-run partnership at the top. Towhid Hridoy became the next victim of Ravi Bishnoi, he was followed by Shahadat Hossain who was dismissed on 1 run only.
