There is absolutely no stopping India’s young and talented wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant at the moment. After having a tough 2020, where we saw him getting dropped from the playing XI of the team across the format, Pant has started the year 2021 in a blockbuster way. After starring for team India in the Test series against Australia and England, Rishabh impressed one and all with his heroics in the T20I series against England.

Now as the Indian cricket team is currently locking horns with England in the ongoing 2nd ODI match, Rishabh once again managed to shut his critics with his stunning knock. Rishabh Pant walked in with all-guns-blazing to join hands with KL Rahul and take the game with a storm. Both the cricketers smashed the England bowlers to all the corners of the ground.

While KL Rahul drove and pulled with panache during his stunning knock of 108 runs, on the other hand, Rishabh was his usual free-scoring self as he scored 77 runs off 40 deliveries. Both the cricketers helped team India post a competitive total of 336/6 against England.

During his stunning knock, Rishabh made everyone sit on the edge of their seats as he smashed 7 sixes and 3 fours with a strike rate of 192.50. Now with his scintillating knock in the 2nd ODI, who was only included in the playing XI as a replacement for Shreyas Iyer, proved why he can’t be overlooked in the ODIs as well.

Meanwhile, netizens went berserk as soon as Pant’s knock came to an end. From cricketers to fans everyone took to their social media to hail the brilliance of young keeper-batsman. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes while appreciating the stunning knock of Rishabh Pant.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:
