The Eden Gardens witnessed fireworks in the last few overs of the Indian innings in the ongoing third and last T20I match of the ongoing series. The crowd was roaring as Suryakumar Yadav kept everyone on the edge of the seats with his terrific knock in the ongoing third T20I match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
After losing Ruturaj Gaikwad early in the innings today, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer steadied the ship and rebuilt the innings. However, the Indian side lost quick wickets in the middle. But all thanks to the fireworks conducted by Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer, who put together 91 runs helped the Indian side to post a total of 184 on the scoreboard.
Venkatesh Iyer joined Suryakumar Yadav in the 14th over after the fall of Rohit Sharma in the game. It was that moment of the game when even posting a total of 150 was looking tough. However, the duo got into the action straight as they played some stunning shots. Especially, Suryakumar, who rained sixes at Eden Gardens tonight as he smashed the Windies bowlers to all the corners of the ground.
The Indian side scored 86 runs off the final overs, out of which 42 came off in the final two overs with both the batters going all out.
SKY was dismissed in the final ball of the Indian innings by Romario Shepher. SKY was dismissed after scoring 65 runs off 31 balls. . He scored his fourth fifty of his T20I career. His knock was laced with 7 sixes and 1 boundary.
