The Motera Stadium, which is the largest cricket stadium in the world, is all set to host the third Test of the ongoing 4-match Test series between India and England. The stadium has become the talk of the town lately and has bowled everyone with its beauty.

With a seating capacity of 1,10,000, which is more than the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Motera Stadium had undergone extensive renovation. The stadium is spread across an area of 63 acres, also has 6 indoor pitches with bowling machines. Besides the indoor pitches, the stadium also has outdoor practice pitches and 63 acres, also has 6 indoor pitches with bowling machines, and two practice grounds with a small pavilion area.

The old structure of the stadium was taken down in the year 2015. The last international match that was played in this stadium was the ODI match between India and Sri Lanka in the year 2014. Since then no match was played in this stadium. However, the stadium is now all set to host the last two Test games of the ongoing 4-match Test series against England.

Talking about the ongoing series, the first two games were held in Chennai, while England emerged victorious in the opening game of the series, the hosts made a strong comeback in the second match. It will be interesting to see if India is able to continue with its form.
