Former Indian captain Virat Kohli smashed a stunning boundary of the first ball he faced to open his account in the ongoing second T20I match and then went on to slam a fiery fifty at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Virat Kohli, who has been going through a rough patch, showed glimpses of his vintage form as he smashed the Windies bowlers to all the corners of the ground.
Coming out to bat early, after the dismissal of Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli formed a brilliant partnership with Indian captain Rohit Sharma, which turned out to be an eye treat for the Indian cricket fans.

He walked out to bat like a man on a mission. The wickets of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav fell around him however he kept going strong. Virat smashed seven boundaries to reach the score of 46 and then he smashed Roston Chase towards the boundary.
Though the tall Jason Holder was next to the ropes and put in a valiant effort but he failed to stop the ball from going over the ropes. Virat Kohli smashed seven fours and one six in his innings of 52 off 41 balls.
Meanwhile, fans on social media were overjoyed with the decent fifty smashed by Virat Kohli during the game and came up with amazing reactions. From fans, experts to cricketers, everyone applauded the batter for his magnificent shots during the match.

There is an urgency about Kohli today. Even in the manner in which he came striding out to bat.
