Virat Kohli’s Heart Winning Gesture For Rizwan After The Game: The much-awaited clash of the t20 World Cup between arch-rivals India and Pakistan ended up on a rather heartbreaking note for the Indian cricket team. Babar Azam’s side cruised to a 10-wicket victory in Dubai to help his team break the winning streak of India to make it 12-1.
This was the first time in the history of the game that the Pakistan cricket team was successful in defeating team India in a World Cup encounter. Prior to this game, the Indian team had defeated Pakistan in all 12 games at the World Cups.
After an incredible bowling display by Pakistan, team India was restricted to 151/7. Virat Kohli (57) and Rishabh Pant (39) helped in the recovery for the team India after the top-order collapse. Pakistan’s young sensation Shaheen Afridi turned out to be the hero with the ball as he picked 3 crucial wickets.
Later, Pakistan openers Mohammad Rizwan (79*) and Babar Azam (68*) chased the target successfully with 13 balls remaining. It was a crushing loss for team India and a heartbreaking one for the fans of the team. However, sports is all about winning and losing and appreciating one’s opponent even after being defeated in the game.
It was a similar case with the Indian skipper, who won everyone’s heart with his kind gesture for Pakistan’s Rizwan. After getting thrashed by Pakistan, not only did Virat Kohli say encouraging words to Pakistan openers but also hugged him affectionately.
