Marnus Labuschagne incurred one of the “most bizarre dismissals you’ll ever see,” leaving everyone in splits. Marnus Labuschagne smashed the England cricket team to all the corners of the ground and punished them for dropping him on zero runs in the slips.
He played a stunning T20-like knock, scoring 44 off 53 after the Australian cricket team suffered a horrible start at 3/12. Labuschagne’s stunning knock featured nine boundaries. However, just when he looked like going big on the scorecard, his knock came to a premature end after he slipped to the turf in a hilarious way and was clean bowled by seamer Stuart Broad.
The incident took place on the brink of dinner when Stuart Broad bowled one which was going down leg. Marnus put his front foot across but he twisted his ankle to fall on his chest on the pitch, right in front of the stumps while the ball hit the leg stump.
Well, what followed was one of the most bizarre things to have happened on the cricket field. The v video of the same has been going viral on the internet.

Brendon Julian, who was present at the commentary box when the incident took place, was heard saying: “He went across too far, he slipped over! … that’s a horrible dismissal but Labuschagne is going.”
Former England skipper Michael Vaughan added: “I have never ever seen this in Test cricket. The opening session of a Test match … he just falls over, he trips over his own feet.”
Michael Hussey echoed his claim and said: “That is one of the most bizarre dismissals you’ll ever see in Test cricket.”
Responding to which, Julian said: “I just doubt if he would have got it anyway. He was so far across, he needed to come right back. Obviously slipping over didn’t look good, (but) Broad thought it did!”
Vaughan added: “I’ve never ever seen this in cricket, let alone Test cricket. On the first session of a Test match. He’s got that left foot (so far across), he goes over because it slips, but where was he going!?”
Meanwhile, fans on social media were left in splits after watching this hilarious yet bizarre dismissal. Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:
