West Indies batter Shimron Hetmyer is one of the most consistent overseas performers in the Indian Premier League. Apart from his stunning batting skills, the youngster is known for his flamboyant attitude and also for experimenting with his looks, especially his hairstyle.
Now ahead of the upcoming 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, Shimron has managed to grab all the attention because of his hairstyle. The stylish cricketer has colored his hair pink as he joined the Rajasthan Royals ahead of the IPL 2022 season.
On Sunday, Rajasthan Royals via their official Twitter handle shared a picture of Shimron, wherein he can be seen pointing to his pink hair as he arrived to prepare for the IPL 2022 season. Sharing the picture, Rajasthan Royals penned a cheeky captain, that read:

The West Indian left-hander, who is known for his aggressive batting skills was roped in by Rajasthan Royals for ₹8.5 crores at the IPL auction last month. Hetmyer was one of the costliest purchases from West Indies alongside Jason Holder, who was purchased for Rs. 8.75 crores by Lucknow Supergiants.
Earlier, he was released by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2022 mega-auctions. He had a decent 2021 season for the Delhi Capitals, where he scored 242 runs off 14 games at a strike rate of 168.05.
In the previous season, Shimron Hetmyer who usually bat lower down the order played some stunning cameos, including an unbeaten 53 off 25 in a losing cause against RCB.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan-based franchise hired Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga as their fast bowling coach for the upcoming IPL 2022. Rajasthan Royals will kickstart their IPL 2022 campaign with a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Pune on March 29.
