10 Hilarious Memes After Mumbai Indians’ Yet Another Failure In IPL 2021

The Mumbai Indians continued with their poor form as they were defeated by Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. After being asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians could muster 129 runs in their 20 overs as the Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals gave a sensational performance with the ball.

Mumbai Indians just kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and failed miserably to find momentum throughout the game. Though, Mumbai Indians started the innings well with Rohit Sharma hitting the very first ball for a boundary. However, soon Rohit was dismissed by Avesh Khan. SKY did look good and tried to bring back the momentum with Quinton de Kock at the crease.

However, Delhi Capitals’ bowlers were exceptional with their bowling. Axar Patel sent both the batsmen back to the pavilion. He also sent back Saurabh Tiwari, ending up with three wickets in his spell.

Hardik and Kieron Pollard also couldn’t add much to the total. Krunal Pandya once again found himself under the scanner for eating up quite a few deliveries. Mumbai gave a target of 130 runs to Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant and former skipper Shreyas Iyer brought the much-needed momentum back to the game after the top order collapsed after scoring single-digit scores. Axar Patel and Shimron Hetmyer also failed to perform with the bat. But Ravi Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer chased down the total to take their team to victory.

Meanwhile, as soon as Ashwin smashed the winning six, social media was flooded with amazing reactions from the fans to it. Fans on Twitter trolled the power-packed Mumbai Indians batting order for failing to post a challenging target on the board and later failing to chase the total. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes to it.
