The Tamil Nadu Premier League or TNPL is one of the most prominent leagues in India. Ever since its inception, it has produced many young talents. The TNPL 2023 has finally kickstarted with the opening game between Lyca Kovai Kings and Karaikudi Kaalai.
TNPL 2023 will witness 8 teams competing against each other to become the champions. This season a number of big names will participate in the tournament.

Ravichandran Ashwin:
R Ashwin, who is one of the biggest names in the Indian cricket team, will be seen playing for Dindigul Dragons. He is a part of Rajasthan Royals’ squad. In IPL 2023 he picked up 14 wickets in 13 games at an economy rate of 7.51.
Varun Chakravarthy:
Varun Chakravarthy is another big name from the Indian Premier League who will be seen playing in the upcoming edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League. He will be playing alongside Ashwin for Dindigul Dragons. In IPL 2023, he played 14 games for KKR and took 20 wickets.
T Natarajan:
Natarajan, who plays for SunRisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023, will be seen plying his trade for Ba11sy Trichy in the coming TNPL 2023. In IPL 2023, he played 12 games for SRH and took 10 wickets at an economy rate of 9.11.
Washington Sundar:
Sundar is one of the common names in the Indian white-ball squad. He was ruled out of the IPL 2023 because of an injury, but he will be a part of the upcoming TNPL season for Siechem Madurai Panthers. In IPL 2023 Sundar scored 60 runs and took 3 wickets for SRH.
N Jagadeesan:
N Jagadeesan played only six games for IPL 2023 for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2023. He scored 89 runs in those 6 games. He will represent Chepauk Super Gillies in TNPL 2023.
Ashwin was a part of the Rajasthan Royals squad in IPL 2023. However, he only played two games, where he failed to pick any wickets.
Sai Kishore:
R Sai Kishore didn’t get a single game to play in IPL 2023, where he was a part of the Gujarat Titans’ squad. He played 5 games in the 2022 season, picking 6 wickets. He will be representing IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in the TNPL 2023.
Sandeep Warrier:
Warrier was picked by Mumbai Indians as a replacement of injured Jasprit Bumrah but he didn’t get an opportunity to play any game in IPL 2023. He will play for Nellai Royal Kings in TNPL 2023.
Sonu Yadav:
Yadav is a young all-rounder who was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. He will play for Nellai Royal Kings, who picked him for a price of INR 15.2 lakh.
Vijay Shankar:
Shankar played for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023. He played 14 games and scored 301 runs at an average of 37.63 and 160.11. He will be seen playing for IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans.
Shahrukh Khan:
Playing for the Punjab Kings in IPL 2023, Shahrukh Khan scored 156 runs at a strike rate of 165.96. He will captain Lyca Kovai Kings in the tournament.
Sai Sudharsan:
Sudharsan played for the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans and scored 362 runs in 8 innings at an excellent average of 51.71 and a strike rate of 141.41. He played a sensational knock of 47-ball 96 in the final against CSK.
