The Indian bowling department has come under the scanner and is getting brutally trolled on social media for their poor show in the second ODI against Australia. After losing the first ODI game to Australians, the hopes were at an all-time high on the Indian bowlers, however, they failed to put on a show.

Before the game kickstarted, the toss was won by Australians, who chose to bat first and the decision turned out to be a nightmare for the Indian team as the Australians took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners.

Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket (Aaron Finch and David Warner) each, conceding 73 runs in 9 overs and 79 runs in 10 overs respectively. However, these two wickets didn’t bring any respite for India as Steve Smith took their bowlers to the cleaners once again.

At a time when team India was having a tough time on-field being taken to cleaners by the Aussies, Hardik Pandya came to India’s rescue. Pandya, who was staying away from bowling for quite a long time, resumed his bowling in the match. He did extremely well as compared to the other bowlers and returned back with the figures of 1/24 in his four overs. Not just this, Pandya took the big wicket of Steve Smith as well.

At the end of the first innings, the Indian cricket team was given a target of 390 runs to chase. It will be interesting to see if India will be able to win the game.

Meanwhile, social media is flooded with reactions from the Indian cricket fans, who are very disappointed with the bowling department of team India. Fans have come up with hilarious jokes and memes trolling the Indian bowling unit for their poor performance once again.

Here, we bring you some of the hilarious memes from Twitter. Have a look:
