2 SRH Batsmen Who Can Smash More Than 20 Sixes In IPL 2025

As the IPL 2025 season approaches, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) squad looks particularly potent, especially in terms of their batting lineup. With a blend of youth, experience, and raw power, SRH has three batsmen who could redefine the art of six-hitting in the upcoming IPL season. Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Heinrich Klaasen are not just names on the roster; they are potential six-hitting machines capable of turning matches on their head with their brute force and strategic play. This article delves into why these three are expected to hit over 20 sixes each, potentially making SRH one of the most feared teams in the tournament.

Abhishek Sharma:

Abhishek Sharma has been a revelation in recent IPL seasons, showcasing a maturity beyond his years. His ability to clear the ropes has been evident, with his left-handed batting style offering a unique challenge to bowlers. In IPL 2024, Sharma hit 34 sixes, leading the chart for individual sixes in the season. His approach combines aggression with an excellent eye for the ball, allowing him to hit sixes even against quality spin and pace. Playing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, where the boundaries are not the longest, and with the confidence of a young player eager to prove himself, Sharma could well surpass the 20-six mark again in IPL 2025, potentially leading SRH’s charge with his explosive starts.

Travis Head:

Travis Head, the Australian left-hander, made an immediate impact in his first season with SRH in 2024. His fearless approach was on full display when he smashed a 24-ball 62 against Mumbai Indians, setting a record for the fastest fifty by an SRH batter. Head’s ability to take on bowlers from the outset, combined with his experience at the international level, makes him a prime candidate for hitting numerous sixes. His shot selection, particularly his penchant for hitting over the off-side, complements SRH’s strategy of aggressive starts. With his form and the support from the SRH coaching staff, Head is set to be a major six-hitter in IPL 2025, especially if he continues to open the innings.

Heinrich Klaasen:

Heinrich Klaasen, known for his explosive middle-order batting, has been a linchpin for SRH. In the previous IPL season, Klaasen’s knack for hitting sixes, particularly against spinners, was evident. He scored 80 off just 34 balls against Mumbai Indians, which included an onslaught of seven sixes. Klaasen’s technique and power allow him to hit long and clean, making him a nightmare for bowlers in the death overs. His experience in various T20 leagues worldwide has refined his skill set, ensuring he can adapt to different match scenarios. If SRH can provide him with the platform to bat long, Klaasen could easily go past 20 sixes in the next season, acting as the finishing touch to SRH’s powerful batting lineup.

The trio of Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Heinrich Klaasen represents not just individual talent but a collective force that could dominate the IPL 2025 with their six-hitting capabilities. Their ability to change the game’s complexion with a single over of hitting is what SRH will bank on to climb the ranks. With the right conditions, form, and strategies, these players could not only entertain but also lead SRH to a season where the sound of the ball hitting the stands becomes synonymous with their names.
