VIDEO: This video proves that MS Dhoni is world’s best finisher

India’s captain MS Dhoni is one of the best finishers in the game of cricket. His ability to absorb the pressure and then back his abilities to clear the ground, is second to none. Batting at number 5/6, Dhoni has won many matches for India single-handedly. Dhoni is not just a bang-bang players. He believes in building an innings or constructing a chase.

Great West Indies’ fast bowler Ian Bishop praised MS Dhoni’s match-winning skills by saying if 15 runs are needed off the last over, pressure is on the bowler, not on MS Dhoni.

15 runs are needed off the last over, pressure is on the bowler… not on MS Dhoni.” – Ian Bishop

Former India coach Gary Kirsten had so much faith on MS Dhoni that he said:

“I would go to war with Dhoni by my side.” – Gary Kirsten

In this video, Shakti Prasad (youtube channel) has compiled MS Dhoni’s best four finishes. From IPL to international cricket, MS Dhoni has shown his tremendous finishing skills everywhere.

MS Dhoni has been a great finisher for India but I don’t think he is the best ever… I have not seen anyone finishing one day matches as consistently as Micheal Bevan did for Australia. No doubt he was a part of a great team but he was always the crisis man for them… I don’t think any other player has ever finished matches more consistently for any side. May be Steve Waugh, Micheal Hussey, Javed Miandad (especially against India), Hansie Cronje… are the next men who come to my mind at this moment but yes MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and even Yuvraj Singh have been very good finishers for India. Yuvraj on song was probably the deadliest of all… but as far as finishing off matches is concerned, Micheal Bevan was in a different league… 🙂
