IPL 2015: The most unluckiest dismissal in the history of IPL

Cricket is a funny game and it never fails to amaze us. In the match 38 of the eighth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2015) between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH), CSK’s middle-order batsman Faf du Plessis got run-out in the most unluckiest manner possible. CSK’s captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni smashed a full-toss deliver down the ground and Faf du Plessis, who was standing at the non-striker’s end, got in the way of the shot and this led to one of the most unluckiest dismissals in the history of Indian Premier. SRH’s Akshat Reddy showed great presence of mind, as he ran back to collect the ball from his follow through and hit the stumps to find du Plessis well short of his crease.

You can clearly see the disgust on MS Dhoni’s face. Faf du Plessis didn’t look back and just walk back to pavilion. This is surely the most unluckiest dismissal you will ever get to see in the game of cricket. You have got to feel for the poor Faf.
