8 Things All IPL Fans Will Miss After The Two-Year Ban On CSK And RR

The breaking news about abeyance of IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) for a period of two years by a Supreme Court-appointed panel left the fans stumbled over the thought of imagining IPL without these two teams. Acceptably, there is no space for corruption and wrong-doings in any Sport. From the past few years, controversies regarding illegal betting of the games surrounded CSK official Gurunath Meiyappan, who’s the son-in-law of International Cricket Council (ICC) president N. Srinivasan and RR co-owner Raj Kundra. After they both were found guilty of illegal betting, the three member committee headed by former Chief Justice of India RM Lodha also smacked a life ban for the two from all the cricket matches.

Apart from the controversies, here are 8 things that CSK, RR and all IPL fans would miss the most for the next two years:

1) DJ Bravo’s celebration

2) Destructive opening pair of DR Smith and Brendon McCullum

3) The Most Respected Cricketer In India- Rahul Dravid

4) A cricketer who proved that age is just a number: Pravin Tambe

5) No more ‘Halla Bol’

6) Whistle Podu

7) Isn’t it impossible to imagine IPL without MS Dhoni?

8) The Aussie-trio of Faulkner, Watson and Steve Smith
