A video of former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar talking about the incidence that forced the legendary Sachin Tendulkar to change his autograph. This happened when Tendulkar was 15-years-old and was visiting Gavaskar’s home to thank him for a very special gift.
When Tendulkar was selected in the Indian side to tour their arch rivals Pakistan back in November 1989, Gavaskar went to see Tendulkar at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and presented him the lightweight pads that he had been using for long in his illustrious career. Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar share a very special relationship. While Gavaskar created many records for India in Test cricket, it was Tendulkar who bettered the most of them. Tendulkar retired with close to 16,000 Test runs and 51 Test centuries, a record that looks unbreakable for the moment.
