Virat Kohli and his young team created history by winning a Test series in Sri Lanka after a long gap of 22 years. India made a very strong comeback after losing the first Test match at Galle. It is never easy to comeback in a 3-match series after losing the first Test, specially outside home.
India played good cricket throughout the series, but there were a lot of controversies that created a drama in the middle. It started with Ishant Sharma giving aggressive send-offs in the second Test. But the real drama started when Ishant Sharma and Dhammika Prasad got into an ugly spat that further involved some of the other Sri Lankan players as well.
The drama continued till the last session of the Test when Kusal Perera was given a send-off after his dismissal.
