VIDEO: Adam Gilchrist’s honest gesture in the semi final of 2003 World Cup

Australia’s legendary wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist is one of the most destructive batsmen and arguably the best wicketkeeper in cricket history. Gilchrist, who always played the game with a smile on his face, is one of the most honest cricketers to have ever played the game.

In the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003 semi-final between Australia and Sri Lanka, Adam Gilchrist showed great sportsmanship when he walked away on his own, even when the umpire had given him not-out. This was not the first time that a batsman had done this but to do this in the all important world cup semi final, proves his honesty.
