India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli batted brilliantly on day 3 of the fourth Test of the ongoing series between India and England and scored his 15th Test hundred. Batting on a good wicket at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, Kohli showed great class and control and put India in a comfortable position after the middle-order collapse. At the time of writing this post, Kohli was batting on 122 runs off 210 balls.
After Murali Vijay’s dismissal, India kept losing wickets at the other end but Kohli stood like a rock and anchored the Indian innings. These days, we don’t get to see animated celebrations from Virat Kohli, but when he reached his 15th Test hundred at the iconic Wankhede stadium, he jumped in the air and celebrated his milestone in front of a good (almost 20,000) crowd.
