Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav batted brilliantly in the first match of the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series between India and England. Chasing a big total, Indian openers fell early and Yuvraj Singh, in his comeback match, scored only 15 runs. All the pressure was on Virat Kohli but Kedar Jadhav complemented him brilliantly and formed a match-winning partnership for the fifth wicket.
There was a time when India were looking very comfortable but Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav fell in quick succession and the momentum shifted in England’s favour. But India’s lower-order batted brilliantly and helped India register a famous win in Virat Kohli’s first match as India’s full-choice captain.
