Hong Kong T20 Blitz 2017: Former West Indies’ all-rounder Dwayne Smith scored a 31-ball hundred in the ongoing Hong Kong T20 Blitz 2017. Smith, who announced his retirement last week, was at his destructive best in the match against City Kaitak.
Dwayne Smith’s century, which guided Kowloon Cantons to an eight-wicket victory over City Kaitak. Smith started playing his shots right from the first over. He scored 28 runs off the first over and remained unbeaten on 121 off 40 balls.
“Well, basically it was a great pitch and I must commend the groundsman for that,” Smith was quoted as saying by South China Morning Post.
“For me, it was just a case of going out there and being confident and staying as positive as I can be. It’s a small ground, a good pitch and that’s a recipe for runs,” he added.
