West indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the current edition of the Indian Premier League. in an injury hit IPL, players like KL Rahul and Mitchell Marsh were also ruled out of the tournament.
At the beginning of the season, Dwayne Bravo was expected to miss out on a few matches initially. However, there were chances of him returning to the playing XI for the Lions. In some of the recent interviews, the team management also expected him to return to the playing eleven soon. But, it is now official that he will not be participating this year.
Gujarat Lions and INTEX owner Keshav Bansal tweeted about Bravo’s injury and said that he will miss the season. Keshav also wished him a speedy recovery!

Bravo was suffering from a hamstring injury which he picked up while playing the Australia’s Big Bash League. Soon after that, he had a surgery for the injury and was recovering from the same as the IPL 2017 began.
The Gujarat Lions will miss his services as a bowler especially. Last year, Bravio was the second highest wicket taker for them with 17 wickets. He also has been the Purple Cap[ holder in the previous editions of the IPL.
