Injured RCB batsman KL Rahul was seen at the Chinnaswamy Stadium during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rising Pune Super Giant. The Team India opener came back from London where he underwent a successful surgery on his shoulder. The injury has forced the batsman to miss the entire season of the IPL.
Although, Rahul made an appearance on the ground to watch the 5th match of his franchise. But, RCB lost the match at the home ground and went down to RPS by 27 runs to lose their 4th encounter in the IPL.
Rahul got injured in the first Test of the India-Australia Test series but went on to play the remaining matches. The opener ended up scoring 6 half centuries wit the bat. He failed to convert them into centuries but they came at a crucial time in the game. His injury was a big blow to RCB as in the last IPL, Rahul’s terrific performances led to his national side call up.
The good news is that Rahul is expected to be back for Team India for the Champions Trophy in June.
