IPL 2017: Shane Warne Praises MS Dhoni On Twitter

The Indian Premier League is in full flow and the tams are competing to make it to the top of the table. Rising Pune Super Giant wicket-keeper MS Dhoni faced a lot of criticism early on in the tournament from his haters and his team owner himself.

The former Indian captain failed in the first 3-4 games but made a comeback with a with a vintage knock of 28 runs off 25 balls. The innings made an impact and RPS won the game by a huge margin. Dhoni hit a six which landed on the roof of the Chinnaswamy stadium! Recently, Shane Warne came out in support of MS Dhoni and praised him on Twitter.

Here’s what he tweeted:

Shane Warne is absolutely correct here. A player like MS Dhoni should not be judges based on some performances in the IPL. The Jharkhand wicket-keeper has been a fantastic player for over a decade now. Apart from being an incredible leader, Dhoni has inspired a lot of young cricketers who started out recently.

And as we know, Captain Cool is know for keeping a cool head and handling situations in his own way. Dhoni will certainly silence all his critics with his bat in the upcoming games.

The Rising Pune Super Giant will play against the Sun Risers Hyderabad on April 22nd, Saturday.
