Few days ago, Kieron pollard took it to Twitter to Sanjay Majrekar’s “brainless” jibe. In the last game, Manjrekar talked about how Pollard wasn’t capable of batting at No.3 in the playing XI.
“When I look at Pollard, I look at him as more a six-seven-overs-left-in-the-innings batsman. Whether he will be able to bat at No. 3 and whether he has the versatility to pick up the singles if the boundaries are not coming, does he have the range as a batsman? I don’t think so. My view is, maybe six or seven overs left in the innings is the perfect time for Pollard to come in,” he said.
In today’s game, in the commentary box, Ravi Shastri asked Sanjay whether he got a chance to speak to Pollard before the match.
“Kept a safe distance. Couple of security guys outside the commentary box. It was a shocker, the compliment that he paid me.”
