Indian cricket team is a very fit unit and a lot of credit goes to former captain MS Dhoni and present captain Virat Kohli. MS Dhoni started a culture in which players had to field well to cement their place in the playing XI. Dhoni made it mandatory for Indian cricketers to stay fit and contribute in at least two departments of the game i.e. batting/bowling and fielding.
Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has inspired young Indian cricketers to step up their fitness game and be match fit for every game. Kohli started his career as an overweight boy but soon he realised the worth of having a fit body and since then, he has worked very hard on his fitness and now he is, arguably, the fittest cricketer in the world.
There is one more trend that Virat Kohli has started in India and that is– to keep a stylish beard. Most of the Indian cricketers keep a well groomed beard and even the young cricketers who are coming from IPL and domestic cricket, are also working on their beard game.
In the last 4 years or so, Virat Kohli has kept a very solid beard and made it a fashion statement among young boys in India. In this post, we will look at some of the before and after beard pictures of Indian cricketers who don’t shaving their beard.
