The T10 league which is to be held at the Sharjah Cricket stadium is set to be star studded affair. The league which seems all the more exciting than T20s will be played at the Sharjah between 14th and 17th December, 2017.

Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakara and the legendary Wasim Akram will all be seen in the same squad in the league.

While the “Nawab of Nazafgarh” would be at the helm of the team, Wasim Akram, one of the cricketing greats would be seen in the shoes of the coach of the team.

Kumara Sangakara, the stylish Sri Lankan batsman too would play in the same team. As per sources all three of them would be a part of the ‘Maratha Arabians’ franchise. The batting line up already looks formidable with Viru and Sangakara.

This T10 league is high on legends!

Virender Sehwag and Sangakara aren’t the only legneds to feature in the T10 league but the list is long. Other legends which would be seen at this ecstatic exhibition of cricket include “boom boom Afirdi”, Misbah Ul haq, Eoin Morgan and the new era cricketing talent, Fakhar Zaman. This makes us really excited for the league already, doesn’t it?

The team for which Sehwag will play for is co-owned by Sohail Khan, the Bollywood star and the league would feature a total of 6 teams. The players’ draft is expected to happen in Dubai on the 5th of November.

Akram being put at the place of the head coach has already been confirmed by the team owners and they said, “Akram knows the conditions in Sharjah well and that will help the side to do better in the tournament.”

The bottom line is that we are so excited to see Sehwag hit the ball to the orbit once again just like he did all through his career. Viru paji is fun to watch anyday!
