There is much excitement among cricket fans of both, India and South Africa about the upcoming tussle between the two teams. As India is gearing up to advance for the tour of South Africa the excitement is just growing each day. India will play South Africa in the first test on January 5, 2017.
This would be one clash to watch out for and everyone has its eyes on this tour. India has had a long home season and now to play on the testing pitches of South Africa and that too against the phenomenal pace department of the Proteas would be one difficult task for Kohli and his men.
After Sunil Gavaskar said that team India will beat South Africa in the test series we also have a rebuttal coming in from South Africa. Mr 360 Degrees, AB De Villiers has warned Indian batsmen to be wary of South African bowlers. Kohli and AB De Villiers share great love and respect for each other and are also teammates in the RCB.
But this time we will see both of them head to head and fighting against each other as they discharge their national duties. Talking about India’s preparation, ABD said India is asking for green pitches in the test series against Sri Lanka so that they can be used to conditions in South Africa.
He further added that the numero uno team in tests should be wary of the fact that they would not be facing the Sri Lankan attack in South Africa but the fine bowling line of the Proteas and they must watch out.
Taking a slight dig on Indians he said, “It might help them but India has got to remember that they won’t face the same bowlers.” Now we are keen to see if Virat responds to this little dig by his close friend as the war of words has just started to heat up. We are all excited for this contest and we are going to love every bit of it for sure.
