Rohit Sharma hits the cleanest of sixes when he gets going and is a delight to watch always. He was at his destructive best in the second ODI against Mohali where he hit 12 sixes. He hit his third ODI double hundred today and this is no joke!
Rohit Sharma now has 162 sixes to his credit in ODIs and that’s an amazing number. He has hit 45 ODI sixes this year and has surpassed Watson’s tally of 42 in the year 2011. But not to forget, AB De Villiers has the world record of 58 sixes in the year 2015 which is par excellence.
Rohit Sharma has been sensational in 2017 and also is the second leading run getter in ODIs with well above 1000 runs. First on the list is of course king Kohli. Rohit Sharma is one of the cleanest hitters in modern day cricket and for him no boundary is long enough. When her hits them, they go into the stands and he can clear any distance with his willow.

The third ODI is still to go and Rohit has an opportunity of going past Afridi. Afridi has 48 sixes to his name which he got in 2002. 3 more sixes and Rohit will equal Afridi on the list to share the second spot. 4 more and he will surpass Afridi to hold on the second spot on the list.
