The Decision Review System has added a new dimension as well as a new emotion of the game of cricket. It’s a great way to make up for the errors committed by the umpires. Hence DRS has been the greatest innovations to have ever been added to cricket.
KL Rahul takes DRS
Today as the T20 series between Sri Lanka and India commenced India once again lost the toss. Put in to bat first India lost Rohit Sharma in the last over of the power play.
The onus was then on KL Rahul to lead India to a good total but he was given out on the first ball of the seventh over. Umpire gave him out, LBW and Rahul straightaway went for the DRS.
Rohit goes animated
Rahul was given not out by DRS and the umpire had to reverse his decision. Rohit Sharma was totally animated seeing the decision being reversed. He was exponentially elated to see the decision going in India’s favour and started to clap like a child celebrating small victories.
Rohit Sharma is leading the team in the absence of Virat Kohli. After leading India to a series win in the ODI series Rohit would want to end the T20 series too on a winning note.
