But what surprised everyone the most was the fact that some of the biggest international names as per the T20 standards went unsold.

Ish Sodhi, the 25-year-old Kiwi bowler has scalped 31 wickets in T20 internationals from 21 matches he represented the Kiwis in. Ish Sodhi is just one from the pool of the high profile international players who went unsold in the auctions for IPL 2018.
19-year-old Rashid Khan stole Ish Sodhi’s thunder as he went for a whopping 9 crores to the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kiwis performed decently at the auctions but Ish Sodhi was ignored by all franchises.
Shaun Marsh, Hashim Amla, Eoin Morgan, Mitchel McClenaghan, Martin Guptill, Adam Zampa were among the big names which went unsold in the IPL 2018 auctions.
These players going unsold despite their potentials and repute has come as a surprise to everyone specially when even BBL stars have made it big in the IPL but not these international sensations.
