India might have lost the fourth ODI against South Africa but Bhuvneshwar Kumar won hearts. He might have not got a any wicket to his tally but the catch he took on the boundary was just exceptional.
It was a tossed up delivery by Kuldeep Yadav and Hashim Amla went for the shot.
Amla tried to clear the boundary as the required run rate was mounting. But Bhuvneshwar picked up a spectacular catch and Amla had to make the long walk back. He once again showed how intelligent a cricketer he is and how fine is his awareness of the game.
He caught the ball and realised the he’d be touching the rope. He got rid of the ball as he was about the touch the rope and caught the ball again. This was one of the finest and the most clinical catches you’ll ever see.
The pink day ODI finally broke the losing streak of South Africa in this series. The hosts registered their first win in the series by winning the Johannesburg ODI by 5 wickets in what was a match cut short by rain. South Africa has kept its chances in the series still alive with this win.
The Indian bowlers gave too much runs to have any control of the game. The match was interrupted by rain and the target for the Proteas was revised. The revised target was 202 to be reached in 28 overs and they reached it with ease.
