Rohit Sharma And Pant Trolled Mercilessly By Twitter Despite India Winning The Game Against Bangladesh

India has thrashed Bangladesh by 6 wickets as the men in blue registered their first victory in the tournament. After Bangladesh set a modest target of 140, India reached the target swiftly riding on a half-century by Shikhar Dhawan.

The low string of scores continues to haunt Rohit Sharma as the captain of India on this tour of Sri Lanka fell cheaply yet again. Rohit Sharma has been in a real patchy form ever since the tour of South Africa and since then his struggle to score continues.

ROHIT SHARMA’S STRUGGLE WITH THE BAT CONTINUES

After a duck in the first game of the ongoing T20 tri-series which India lost to Sri Lanka, today India took own Bangladesh in the second game of the Nidahas Trophy. Having batted first, Bangladesh had given India a very modest target of 140 and Rohit Sharma had all the time in the world to get his form back but he departed for just 17. Rohit Sharma made 17 from 13 balls before getting played on.

Indian bowlers besides a few uncalled extras were right on the money and tamed the Bangladesh batsmen pretty well and picked up wickets at regular intervals.

In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma has been appointed as India’s captain for this tri-series but he has not been leading from the front in the manner the team wants him to. Rohit Sharma has been consistently scoring low and has been falling cheaply inning after inning. His struggle was no different today as well against Bangladesh as after a few good looking shots he returned to the pavilion.
