After having lost the first game to Sri Lanka, India would look to find their first win today against Bangladesh. India which was being cited as the favourites to win the tournament started the tournament on a losing note and that came as a big surprise.
Today as India take on Bangladesh in its second game, this is what the Predicted XI looks like.
The opening pair is going to remain the same but it’s time Rohit Sharma comes back to form. He’s the captain and in the absence of Virat Kohli, the team would want him to lead from front which he failed to do in the first game as he got out for a duck.
Shikhar Dhawan on the other hand has carried his great run of form from South Africa to this series as well. He scored a blistering 49 balls 90 in the first game that India lost.
One Down: Suresh Raina
Two Down: Manish Panday
Three Down: Rishabh Pant
Fourth Down: Dinesh Karthik
Doesn’t look like that Rohit Sharma would fancy making any changes here. Rishabh Pant may be given another opportunity despite his untidy innings in the first game for India would look to groom him nicely.
These two all rounders would most probably find a place in the second game too. Washington Sundar picked up 2 wickets in the first game and was way better than the pacers who went for plenty.
Jaydev Unadkat may be seen going out of the team and Siraj can get a game at his cost. Both Shardul and Jaydev went for plenty in the first match and one of them may be axed from the playing XI.
