After losing the first test, the hosts have bounced back really handsomely to settle the odds. South Africa has posted a handsome victory over Australia in the second test at Port Elizabeth. What came at Port Elizabeth was a comprehensive victory as the hosts settled odds. Both the tests have been about a perfect clash of two of the best teams in the world.
The Proteas were over the top from day 1 as they wrapped up Australia for just 243 on day one. Kagiso Rabada was the pick of the bowlers as he decimated the Aussies and picked a perfect five wicket haul 9’ day 1 of the second test. Then it was a perfect show by AB De Villiers who scored his 22nd century to give the Proteas a handsome lead.
In the second innings too the Aussies were decimated by Kagiso Rabada and this time he picked up 6 wickets. In the second innings the Aussies got out for just 239 giving South Africa a modest target of 101 to chase.
Rabada The Hero Of The Match
Kagiso Rabada is the number one test bowler in the world and he’s once again shown why. Having picked 5 wickets in the first innings and 6 in the second, Kagiso Rabada picked up 11 wickets in the game and turned it the host’s way like a king.
Chasing 101, South Africans posted an easy victory by 6 wickets. The series is now rightly poised with both the teams winning one game each.

Super win by Proteas…AB-Rabada have kept the series alive. Before you crucify me—I’m still sticking to my original prediction of Australia winning the series. 🙌🙏 #SAvAUS

Dropping the ball on AB DeVilliers after running him out was about as smart as asking Curtley Ambrose to take his sweatbands off #SAvAUS

The last 19 Tests since March 1997 between #SAvAus in South Africa have all ended in a result.
The last drawn encounter btw the two sides was the Durban Test in March 1994!
Since then Australia won 13, South Africa won 6
