Shoaib Akhtar’s Tweet On Salman Khan’s Punishment Is Trending

Salman Khan, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood have been found guilty and was sentenced for 5 years in jail for poaching black bucks by Jodhpur High Court. He has been convicted under the Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

While shooting for the movie, Hum Saath Saath Hain in the Kankani Village, Rajasthan in September 1998, Salman Khan poached two black bucks. Since then, the case was going on and now finally today, the court has given given it’s verdict today.
While Salman was sentenced jail for five years, the other names that were involved in the case, like Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have been acquitted due to lack of evidence.

Everyone have their own views and opinions about this case, however the Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has sympathized with Salman and feels like the punishment is way too harsh.

Shoaib Akhtar has took to twitter to show his disappointment towards the conviction of Salman Khan. He feels bad for the family and fans of the actor. Here’s what he tweeted:

Really Sad to see my friend Salman khan sentenced for 5 year But the Law must take its course & we got to respect the decision of honourable court of India but i still think punishment is to harsh but my heart goes to his family & fans .. Am sure he will out soon “
