In the ongoing league, while many cheap-buys like Mayank Markhande, have given exceptional performances, on the other hand, many expensive players have failed to perform till now, in this league.

1.Glenn Maxwell :


Glenn Maxwell, the Australian cricketer known as ‘Big Show’ for his ability of hitting thrilling shots. However, he has not showcased any of his thrilling batting skills till now. In the three matches that Delhi Daredevils have played till now, Glenn Maxwell has scored only 77 runs till now. He was bought for a whopping amount of 9 crores. Hopefully we will get to see him hitting massive shots in upcoming matches soon.

2. Andrew Tye:


Andrew Tye was bought for a whopping amount of Rs. 7.2 crores by Kings XI Punjab. Andrew is an Australian player who picked up three hat tricks in T20 cricket last year. However, he has failed to justify his price in this season of IPL. He has only picked 3 wickets in 3 matches till now.

3. Manish Pandey:


Manish Pandey was bought for Rs. Rs 11 crore by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Over the years, in the previous seasons of IPL has been a consistent performer. However, he has failed to give good performance in all the three matches. He has only scored 15 runs in the tournament as of now.

4. Jaydev Unadkat :

Jaydev is one of the most expensive player. He has struggled a lot to reach where he is today. However, in the ongoing season he has failed to give good result. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals this time, and has only picked up 2 wickets from 3 matches.

5. Ravindra Jadeja:


Ravindra Jadeja was retained by Chennai Super Kings at Rs.7.5 crores. We all are aware how good of a player he is but he has failed to showcase his talent in the ongoing season of IPL. The skipper of CSK, Dhoni had a lots of hopes from him and he stated that he will be used more as a batsman but we are yet to see him some great scores from his side.
