Rishabh Pant, the young 20-year-old Delhi Daredevils player has been giving some great performances since the start of the league. On Sunday, Rishabh Pant became the star of the match by giving a devastating performance.

Today’s cricket news is filled with Rishabh Pant as he stunned everyone with his devastating performance by scoring 128 runs off 63 balls. With the strike rate of 203, Rishabh Pant smashed 15 fours and 7 sixes. He remained unbeaten till the end of first innings.

However, Born on October 4, 1997, Rishabh Pant was born in Haridwar, rose to fame with his Under-19 level performances. Be it his batting stance, stroke-play and his humility, everything is perfect about him.

In the early days, Rishabh had to shuffle a lot between cities in order to find a perfect coach for himself. He started off with Roorkee , then to Rajasthan before finally settling in Delhi.

In Delhi, Rishabh was enrolled  at the Sonnet Club where he met his coach Tarak Sinha, who trained him into a more mature player. He advised him to move back to Rajasthan for better opportunities. He moved back to Rajasthan and represented the state at U-14 and U-16 level.

He faced an ouster from the Rajasthan cricket circle for being an outsider. He was literally thrown out of the academy.

4. Moved Back To Delhi Again:

After facing ouster, Rishabh again moved back to Delhi where he completed the last two years of his schooling and  made his first-class debut for Delhi.

Soon, Rishabh Pant was given a chance to represent the country at Under-19 level. He turned out to be the standout performer for India. He smashed three fifties in the tournament.

6. Fastest fifty in U-19 World Cup:

In the ICC U-19 World Cup 2016, Rishabh Pant gave a devastating performance and scored the fastest fifties in just 18 balls. In that match against Nepal, he scored 78 off 24 balls.

7. IPL Connect:

Delhi Daredevils bought Rishabh Pant for a whopping 1.9 crores,, on the same day he scored a century for India against Namibia U-19.

8. Third Youngest Triple Century In Ranji Trophy:

In the Ranji Trophy’s encounter against Maharashtra in the 2016-17 season, Rishabh Pant went on to score 308 runs in 326 balls. Rishabh Pant became the third youngest player to score a triple century in Ranji Trophy after Wasim Jaffer and Abhinav Mukund.

9. His Idol:

Rishabh Pant is a huge fan of former Australian wicket-keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist.

10. Fastest Ranji Century:

Rishabh Pant scored the fastest century in Ranji Trophy’s history. With only 48 balls, he scored a century.

11. Most number of sixes:

In the same match, when Rishabh Pant scored the fastest century, he smashed the second highest number of sixes in Ranji Trophy. He smashed 21 sixes in that match.

12. T20i Debut:

Rishabh Pant became the youngest Indian cricketer to make his debut in the T20 Internationals. In February 2017, he was given the cap of Team India in the series-deciding match against England at Bengaluru.
