Recently, AB de Villiers dropped a bombshell on his fans when he took to twitter and announced that he is taking retirement from all the forms of the game. The sudden news came as a big blow to the cricket world and to his fans as he was giving exceptional performances and even made a lasting impact with his performance in the Test Series against India, in which the Proteas won.
AB de Villiers ended his 14 year long glorified career. Throughout his career he broke many previous records and created new ones under his name.
Lately, he has been giving a lot of brilliant performances for his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League. It was just a few days ago when people went berserk over the superb catch he took during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. People went crazy after watching his athletic skills.

Recently, he was also quoted by one of the media house, he said:
“I wasn’t expecting a positive response, to be honest. It was a really tough decision – I’ve been struggling with it for a while, and I’m just glad we got through it. Now it’s a bit of family time, and a bit of time at home,”
Well, the game of cricket is going to miss it’s one of the most prolific cricketer.
