Today, top two teams of IPL locked their horns at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Chennai Super Kings earned another win today beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets.
Before the match started, Sunrisers were invited to bat first as the toss was won by MS Dhoni, the skipper of Chennai Super Kings, who chose to bowl first.
The first innings started off with the power-packed performances from the opener of SRH, Shikhar Dhawan gave a thrilling performance by scoring 79 runs off 49 balls. With the strike rate of 161, he smashed the players of SRH to all the corners of the ground. Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson gave another handy partnership. The skipper of SRH, Kane Williamson scored 51 off the 39 balls. Deepak Hooda with 21 runs stretched the total scores to 179.
In the second innings, Chennai Super Kings chased the runs wonderfully. The openers of the team, Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu continued their good form with the bat. Both the players gave a power-packed partnership of 137 runs in 81 deliveries.
Ambatti Rayudu, gave a destructive performance again. He remained unbeaten tille the last ball and scored an outstanding century off 62 balls.With the strike rate of 161, he stunned everyone with his thrilling shots, smashing 7 fours and 7 sixes. While on the other hand, Shane Watson scored 57 off 35 balls.MS Dhoni, the skipper of Chennai Super Kings scored 20 runs off 14 balls.
