Rashid Khan Gets Emotional After AB de Villiers’ Retirement

Recently, AB de Villiers’ dropped the bombshell on his fans when he announced about his retirement through his tweet. On Wednesday, he took to his twitter and shared a video in which he announced his retirement from all formats of cricket.

In the video he said:

“Today, at the same place, I want to let you know that I have decided to retire from all international cricket with immediate effect. After 114 Test matches, 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is, it is time for others to take over. I have had my turn and to be honest, I am tired.This is a tough decision. I have thought long and hard about it. I would like to retire still playing decent cricket. ”

In no time, his tweet went viral and people from every corner of the world started showering the prolific cricketer with heartfelt posts and tributes. From millions of fans, to the legendary cricketers, everyone felt a bit emotional as AB de Villiers bid adieu to the game.

Rashid Khan, the young spinner of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Afghanistan cricket team, also took to twitter and wished the retired cricketer his best. In his tweet, he congratulated him for his glorified career.
