Twitter Went Berserk As Hitman Sharma Set The Ground On Fire With His Century

The Indian cricket team is on fire in the first One Day International going on against England. This one is the first match of the tri-series. Before the match started, the toss was won by the captain of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli who choose to bat first.

England had a great start with openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow, who put together 73 runs.The England cricket team gave the target of 268 runs to Indian cricket team.

The Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave a blockbuster start to the second innings of the match for Indian team. Both the cricketers gave a power-packed performance. Shikhar Dhawan scored 40 runs in 27 balls, with the strike rate of 148.15 Shikhar Dhawan smashed 8 fours, before going back to pavilion.

While on the other hand, Rohit Sharma gave an outstanding performance. He literally set the ground on fire with his stunning shots.

That's a FIFTY for Hitman in 54 deliveries. This is his 35th in ODI cricket.
