Virat Kohli Revealed What He Promised AB de Villiers Before The Match Against KKR

Last night Royal Challengers Won their second match of the season defeating the Knight Riders by 10 runs. Virat Kohli, the skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore, gave an extraordinary performance last night scoring his 5th T20 century.

Virat Kohli started off slow and scored his first 50 off 40 balls, but then he changed gears in the second half of his innings and completed his ton in the next 17 balls, smashing 9 fours and 4 sixes. Moeen Ali’s entry gave RCB the much needed oxygen and changed the whole complexion of the innings in a matter of a few moments.

As AB de Villiers was ruled out of the match, Virat Kohli took the big responsibility on his shoulders to get the much needed win. However, Kohli revealed that he promised AB de Villiers a hundred on Friday and said he would hug his mate if RCB won.

Yes, you read that right. Virat Kohli promised AB de Villiers a century before leaving the team hotel to face the KKR squad at Eden Gardens.

Virat Kohli told the broadcasters :

Before leaving, I told AB I will get a hundred for you, so he must be pretty happy,”
