Eoin Morgan’s Beautiful Gesture Has Made Him A Hero In Afghanistan

The England cricket team achieved a milestone by winning their maiden World Cup trophy by defeating New Zealand, in a thrilling battle at Lords. It was indeed a memorable eve for England as their team fulfilled the dreams of millions of English cricket fans.

The English cricket fans were pouring in praises for Eoin Morgan, who has been a prominent part of England’s white-ball achievements.  Apart from guiding his team to glory, Eoin Morgan had a remarkable campaign by striking one of the best centuries of the World Cup. He scored 371 runs in 11 games including his career-best score of 148 where he smashed a record-breaking 17 sixes.


However, what won everyone’s heart was his humility gesture after winning the World Cup as he was seen hugging his counterparts and even congratulated them on playing incredible cricket.

And once again, Eoin Morgan’s humility has won everyone’s heart when he shared some of the beautiful cricketing moments with an Afghan family.

Recently, Eoin took to his twitter to share an adorable moment that he had with an Afghan family. Eoin revealed how on his way home after dinner, an Afghan family asked him to play with them, to which he obliged immediately. He wrote:

“On the walk home from dinner this evening I was asked to play a game with this lovely Afghan family..

For his kind gesture, netizens poured in praises from all-over. Afghanistan’s all-rounder Rashid Khan was left in awe of Eoin Morgan for his kind gesture. Rashid replied to Eoin’s tweet and calling him a “Legend”.
